France captain, Kylian Mbappe should know that the custom mask required to protect his broken nose will affect his vision, Lewandowski has said. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, he once had to wear the mask himself when he was injured years back, and it was quite annoying to work with, especially in the penalty area.

Lewandowski added that it will not be a pleasant challenge for the Frenchman, but he’ll need the mask to protect his health.
His words, “When I had to wear a mask myself, it wasn’t nice. It’s quite annoying, especially in the penalty area, I had problems, I didn’t react, I couldn’t see, my field of vision was hampered… It’s a few milliseconds but it can slow down a player. It’s a challenge, it’s not pleasant, but of course a player’s health is more important. For a competition, emotions are very high and everyone wants to play at all costs. I understand the difficulties he faces.”
