Chelsea forward, Callum Hudson-Odoi has refused to completely shut down the idea of playing for Ghana. He recently revealed that despite having the desire to play for England, he is still keeping his options open.
According to him, when he got his England call up, he was already a footballer in the country, so that gave him the boost he needed to believe playing for the Three Lions is a possibility.
He, however, added that Ghana is also his home and the future will decide which nation he sticks to eventually.
His words, “I think obviously when you’re young, you have the opportunity to play for England throughout all the years, from under 15 to under 16 all the way up.”
“When they obviously gave me the opportunity to come I was in the country already. It’s something that I already had in my mind, set on already playing for England.”
