Bayern Munich president, Herbert Hainer has come out to refute claims that the deal to make Julian Nagelsmann the club’s new manager could cost the German champions up to €25 million (£22m/$30m).

He recently revealed that the club only had to find an agreement with the manager because he was still bound at his former club.

According to him, fans shouldn’t believe all the numbers that are being rumored because they are just not true at all.

He added that FC Bayern are one of the best teams in Europe, and Nagelsmann is a good signing for the club’s future.

His words, “We had to find an agreement with Leipzig because Julian Nagelsmann was still bound there. Do not believe all the numbers that were being rumored.”
