Timo Werner is still in RB Leipzig’s plans for the Champions League, Julian Nagelsmann has said.
Speaking recently at a news conference, Nagelsmann revealed that the he still sees the German forward as an option for UCL selection.
According to him, he does not know where the confusion is coming from because Werner is still an RB Leipzig player and he is yet to sign anyone else.
He added that the striker’s importance to RB Leipzig is extraordinary because his goalscoring rate is just incredible.
His words, “He is currently, as usual, in my plans to play the Champions League. He is our player and has not signed for anyone else,”
“His importance to RB Leipzig is extraordinary. He has an incredibly good goalscoring rate, which you always hope for from a striker.”
