Are you one of the users of WhatsApp Plus? If you are, it is now the time to be alert.

If you have installed WhatsApp plus in your smartphone; you should know that official WhatsApp hates that application, and its users too.

WhatsApp has now officially announced that all the WhatsApp Plus users will be banned and restricted to use WhatsApp.

WHATSAPP PLUS IS AN APPLICATION THAT WAS NOT DEVELOPED BY WHATSAPP, NOR IS IT AUTHORIZED BY WHATSAPP. THE DEVELOPERS OF WHATSAPP PLUS HAVE NO RELATIONSHIP TO WHATSAPP, AND WE DO NOT SUPPORT WHATSAPP PLUS. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT WHATSAPP PLUS CONTAINS SOURCE CODE WHICH WHATSAPP CANNOT GUARANTEE AS SAFE AND THAT YOUR PRIVATE INFORMATION IS POTENTIALLY BEING PASSED TO 3RD PARTIES WITHOUT YOUR KNOWLEDGE OR AUTHORIZATION. PLEASE UNINSTALL YOUR APPLICATION AND INSTALL AN AUTHORIZED VERSION OF WHATSAPP FROM OUR WEBSITE OR GOOGLE PLAY. THEN, YOU WILL BE ABLE TO USE WHATSAPP.

Well, as WhatsApp mentions that ‘all the third-party client users’ will be blocked.

The ban, which is the punishment for using the clients, is temporary for now. Reports show that the users are experiencing block of up to 24 hours.

To be unblocked, you have to uninstall it, and use only the official app, by downloading it from Google Play Store or the app’s official page.

There are several third party clients available similar to this, but WhatsApp plus is the most popular one.

None of them are however, available on the Google Play, which means they all need to be downloaded from elsewhere and, and the users have sideload them in their device.

WhatsApp plus takes the core of WhatsApp, and adds some tweaks and customizations to it.

Though this might be beneficial for the users, as they can get a new experience on their popular messaging app, the owner doesn’t like this (we don’t know the reason for that), and want you not to use it.
