On Tuesday, Nyesom Wike, the nominee for minister, met with Abdullahi Ganduje, the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Wike visited Ganduje at his Abuja home.
Wike’s close friend and Twitter user @TopboyChriss made the announcement: “Nyesom Wike today visited the National Chairman of APC, Alhaji Umar Ganduje, at his residence in Abuja.”

Wike was nominated by President Bola Tinubu a few weeks ago to serve as a minister in his administration.
Wike passed the Senate’s screening process and was confirmed as minister two weeks ago.
Wike is a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and a former governor of Rivers State.
Wike refused to support PDP candidate Atiku Abubakar in the 2016 presidential election.
He decided to support Tinubu in the presidential race.
