Liverpool forward, Mohamed Salah has come out to say that winning a Ballon d’Or is not his focus right now. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, he only hopes for Liverpool to win the league this season, and that has been his main focus since the beginning of the campaign.
Salah added that he just wants to be a part of a collective victory, so he is not concentrating on personal glory.
His words, “The only thing in my mind, to be fair, is I want Liverpool to win the league and I just want to be part of that. That’s the only thing I’ve really focused [on] since the beginning of the season. I will do my best for the team to win trophies. We are in the right direction but of course, there are a few other teams really trying to catch up with us and they are very good teams. We just need to stay focused and humble, work hard, and just go again.”

Left with an empty ground, Houlding founded Liverpool in 1892 and the club has played at Anfield ever since. The capacity of the stadium at the time was 20,000, although only 100 spectators attended Liverpool’s first match at Anfield.
