already been linked with a summer move to
Manchester, has given the Red Devils a major boost
after admitting that he would love to play for them.
.
According to the latest reports at the Metro, the 26-
year-old stated that he ‘has loved the club ever since
he was little,’ and after failing to secure a move away from russia in the January transfer window, looks. set to join Louis van Gaal’s side at the end of the current campaign.
.
Witsel said: “Sure, I love the Premier League and
United ever since I was little. Sooner or later I want to play in one of the best clubs in Europe. I’m still young, I’ll see what the future holds.”
.
The former Benfica star has been plying his trade in
russia since he joined Zenit in the summer of 2012
for a £32.5million transfer fee.

climbed the table after a stuttering start to the
season and currently sit fifth place, just one point
behind third-placed Southampton.
