Wiz Khalifa delivers “Something New.”
Dropping the first single from his forthcoming album, the Taylor Gang boss taps Ty Dolla $ign for an R&B-infused banger produced by Hitmaka.
“Girl, you look just like something out a magazine,” raps Khalifa. “You smell great, know your body clean / Them ni**as been on you since you was a teen / Now you grown up, and I’m a boss, I’m just showing love / Smell like kush when I’m rollin’ up / So much bank, I can’t fold it up.”
Meanwhile, Ty Dolla handles the hook and a verse. “Baby, come give me something new,” he sings. “‘Cause I can’t stop loving you / Since I got a taste of your love / Baby, come give me something new.”
This is the latest Khalifa and Dolla collaboration, following a slew of past joints together like “Lit,” “Hope,” “Or Nah,” “What You Like,” “Still Down,” “Sucker for Pain,” and “You and Your Friends.”
“Something New” is set to appear on the Pittsburgh rapper’s upcoming album, his first major release since 2014’s Blacc Hollywood, which is due this fall.
