Decisions making are an integral part of the human existence as this can make or mar any form of endeavour. In light of this, super-talented actress, Uche Jombo revealed the best decision she has had to make and it is her partnership with Nollywood diva, Ini Edo on a new movie tittled ‘Heaven on my Mind’.
According to Uche, the blockbuster which is set to rock the cinemas is her most stressful production yet due to challenges which included an on set accident that led to the postponement of the film shoot.
“Heaven on my Mind” is executively produced by me and Ini Edo, I initially gave Ini the script to read and act in the film but she loved it after reading the script and she asked to partner with me on it which is probably the best decision I ever made because this film has stressed me more than any film I have ever done.
“We started filming in 2017 but because I had an accident on set we had to stop shooting until March this year, so if I was the sole producer of this movie it would have stressed me more. Also, Ini and I complimented each other’s strength while working on this project and that makes partnerships amazing,” she added.
The much anticipated movie is a drama-comedy about relationship, marriage (whether it is a business transaction or not) and the good side to polygamy.
‘Heaven on my mind is a first of it’s kind collaboration between both seasoned thespians under their production companies, Uche Jombo Studios and Minini Empire Production.
With some of Nollywood’s best acts from the English and Yoruba sector like Mercy Aigbe, Femi Adebayo, Ray Emordi, Andrea Chika Chukwu, Adunni Ade, Eric Ogbonna, Yvonne Nwosu as well as Uche Jombo and Ini Edo, on the cast list, ‘Heaven on my Mind’ which is Uche’s cinema directorial debut will premiere on December 7, and starts screening in cinemas nationwide on the 21st of the same month after which it will premiere online via Vomos Media for the consumption of the online audience.
