Yaya Toure To Earn £10million In 10 Months Without Playing

Yaya-ToureManchester City midfielder Yaya Toure is set to earn up to £10million in his final 10 months of his contract without kicking a ball.

Toure has been found himself frozen out of the team by Manchester City new coach Pep Guardiola.

The midfielder has started just one game this season and that was the second leg of the Champions League play-off against Steaua Bucharest, with City already leading 5-0 from the away fixture.

Guardiola has however offered a way back for the Ivory Coast midfielder, insisting that his agent apologises for statements he has made against him and the club.

Toure’s agent Dimitri Seluk has been very vocal about Guardiola’s treatment of his client, blasting the coach and demanding an explanation.

Before the situation is resolved, Toure according to Guardiola will remain outside of the Manchester City first team.

That will however not stop the midfielder from his £225,000-a-week wage.

With 10 months still to go in his contract, Toure will have picked about £10million if his agent does not apologise to the Guardiola and the club.

Toure is not seen in the Manchester City’s squad photo that was taken on at the club’s training ground.

According to Daily Mail, the player was having a migraine at the time the photo was taken.
