The House of Representatives of Yobe State has announced a schedule for interviewing potential commissioner nominees.
The House Speaker, Rt Hon. Chiroma Buba Mashio, made the announcement on Tuesday during a plenary session.
Mohammed Garba Gagiyo, Engineer Usman Ahmed Bururu, Ya Jalo Badama, Ibrahim Adamu Jajere, Ali Mustapha, Aji Yerima Bularafa, Mohammed Abacha, and Sidi Yakubu Karasuwa, among others, will reportedly be reviewed on Wednesday, August 16, 2023.
Abdullahi Bego, Barrister Sale Samanja, Barma Shettima, Engineer Umaru Wakili Duddaye, Mohammed Lawan Gana, Ahmed Buba Abba Kyari, Yusuf Umar Potiskum, and Kaigama Umar Yunusari are among the second round of nominees who will be vetted on Thursday, August 17.
He said that on Friday, August 18, 2023, the third group of nominees would be shown. These included Mairo Amshi, Mohammed Sani Idriss, Musa Mustapha, and Mohammed Bello Kawuwa.
The audience was instructed to bring their nominees’ resumes to the screening.
