Real Madrid midfielder, Toni Kroos has come out to share how Zinadine Zidane helped his confidence at the club. He recently revealed that the Frenchman deserves praise for assuring him that he still has lots of time at the highest level.

According to him, Zidane actually told him that the best time for a footballer is between 30 or 31, therefore he still has a lot to offer the sport.
Kroos added that he also had a good relationship with Carlo Ancelotti when he coached the club in 2014.
His words, “I remember something that Zizou told me two years ago, when I was 29 and we had already won three Champions Leagues together. He said that, from his experience as a player, the best time is from 30 or 31 and that the best was coming,”
“Let’s see if my career is like that too. I think that at 31 I can still play really well.”
On Ancelotti, “I had a very good relationship with him in 2014. I haven’t played many games with him so far (following his return as manager) so I can’t say exactly [if Ancelotti has changed a lot] because I haven’t had many talks with him yet.”
“It’s a bit difficult [to comment] for this reason. Yes, there is a difference but I can say that our relationship is still very good.”
