France manager, Didier Deschamps has come out to back Zinedine Zidane as a credible successor to take over as national team coach next year. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, there is a lot of respect between both of them, and he would definitely be a natural successor to take over as coach of the French national team.

Deschamps, however, added that it will all depend on if Zizou actually wants the job or not.
His words, “There is a lot of respect between us. We saw each other last time in the summer of 2023, we should see each other again next summer, for the same reasons. Zizou is a very good candidate, natural and I would add expected. Afterwards, I don’t know if he will want to.”
WOW.
