Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been linked with a move to LA Galaxy in recent weeks.
The Swede has been non committal about his future and Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho admitted last month he is still awaiting the striker’s decision.
However, American TV station Fox Sports claims Ibrahimovic’s move to MLS club LA Galaxy is already a done deal.
They posted a photo of the 35-year-old wearing an LA Galaxy shirt on their official instagram account.
And the caption read: “Confirmed from Europe. Zlatan Ibrahimovic will play for Galaxy.”
Ibrahimovic has been a sensation since joining United on a free transfer last summer after running down his contract at Paris Saint-Germain.
He has made 41 appearances for the Red Devils this season, scoring 26 goals and providing nine assists in all competitions.
The former Sweden international does have the option to extend his contract at Old Trafford for a further year.
But speaking at the launch of his range of fragrances last month, he admitted he was not certain he would activate the clause.
“I have an option for another year, I want to do great as long as I’m here, so let us see, there is a lot of time,’ Ibrahimovic said.
“I’m enjoying being at a a fantastic club, without doubts, one of the biggest clubs in the world with a great coach.
“Being a Manchester United player, I don’t know how many people have that possibility but I am a Man United player, people wanted me here, I chose the club, I chose the best English club, that’s the way it works.”
