    2015: N’Delta Youths To Buy PDP Form For Jonathan On Wednesday

    jonathan_2015A group of Niger Delta youths under the aegis of Niger Delta Youth for Jonathan, have sent a letter to the National Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu, informing him of their intention to purchase Expression of Interest and Nomination forms for President Goodluck Jonathan to enable him contest the 2015 presidential election.

    Leader of the group, Prince Ebile Dudu, who submitted the letter Friday at the national secretariat of the ruling party in Abuja, said the group would on Wednesday, pick the forms for the president, who was adopted by the PDP as its sole candidate for the elections in 2015.

    The letter read, “We the Niger Delta Youth for Jonathan and our sister groups in the five geo-political zones, wish to appreciate your singular and collective support of the National Executive Committee of our great party, Peoples Democratic Party, towards the continuation of the Transformation Agenda of Mr. President, 2015.

    “We want to purchase the Expression of Interest form and Nomination form for Mr. President, His Excellency, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, at the National Headquarters of our great party, PDP on Wednesday 22nd October, 2014”.

    Explaining the decision to pick the forms on behalf of the president, Mr. Benjamin Egbunike, who is the chairman of the Board of Trustees of the group, told journalists at the party secretariat that Jonathan was however not informed of their intention to purchase the forms on his behalf.
