Senator Anyim Pius Anyim, a former Senate President and former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), has reiterated his commitment to making Nigeria achieve its dream of a greater and more prosperous country.
He said this after paying visits to Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and Prince Arthur Eze, a foremost business tycoon, on Thursday.
Anyim commended them for their unwavering commitments to the development, unity and prosperity of Nigeria.
The PDP chieftain’s visit to the prominent Igbo elder statesmen was part of his nationwide consultation ahead of the 2023 general election in Nigeria.
This was disclosed in a press statement forwarded to DAILY POST on Friday.
“It was for me a memorable experience visiting Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, (Aha eji aga mba) and Prince Arthur Eze, (Ozo Igbo Ndu), two outstanding leaders who have made their marks in Nigeria, as part of consultations for my 2023 Presidential aspiration.
“I was hugely inspired by their kind words of encouragement and advice. Their deep commitment to the unity, peace and prosperity of our dear country was palpable.
“I share their hope and dream for a better and greater Nigeria. By the grace of God and the will of all Nigerians, I commit to making that dream come true. A greater and more prosperous Nigeria shall arise,” he said.
