2027: APC North West Endorses President Tinubu, Passes Vote of Confidence

Ahead of the 2027 presidential election, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the North West zone has endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and passed a vote of confidence in his leadership.

The endorsement followed a high-level stakeholders’ meeting held on Saturday in Kaduna, attended by all governors from the region, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, the Deputy Senate President, former governors, and other key party leaders.

Also present at the meeting were the National Chairman of the APC, state chapter chairmen, federal and state lawmakers, ministers, heads of federal agencies, and senior political appointees.

Reading the communiqué after the meeting, APC North West Coordinating Governor and Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, reaffirmed the zone’s loyalty to the ruling party and pledged unwavering support for President Tinubu’s vision to deliver prosperity, equity, and lasting change to Nigerians.

“We thank and commend President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his purposeful leadership, bold reforms, and unwavering commitment to Nigeria’s progress, especially in the North West zone,” the communiqué read.

The stakeholders noted significant improvements in security across the region under Tinubu’s administration, which has enabled farmers to return to their farmlands and restored peace to many communities.

They also praised the federal government for what they described as inclusive representation, pointing out that the North West currently boasts 12 ministers, key National Assembly positions, and top security appointments.

“Major infrastructure projects are being completed or are underway across the North West, marking a new era of development in our region,” the communiqué added.

The stakeholders concluded that the APC is growing stronger, more united, and gaining national appeal due to Nigerians’ increasing appreciation of President Tinubu’s administration and the efforts of APC governors.
