Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, has declared that the 2027 presidential election has already been concluded.
Wike made the statement while speaking at a political gathering, where he expressed confidence in the political direction ahead of the 2027 general election.
The former Rivers State governor said Nigerians should not be deceived by the activities of opposition politicians, stressing that the outcome of the election would be determined by the political realities on the ground.
According to him, the current political alignment and developments across the country have already given an indication of what to expect in 2027.
Wike urged his supporters to remain focused and continue working towards consolidating the gains of the present administration.
He also dismissed claims that the opposition could easily dislodge the ruling party in the 2027 presidential election, maintaining that the political structure already in place would guarantee victory.
The minister’s comments come amid ongoing political realignments and preparations by political parties ahead of the 2027 general elections.
