France coach, Didier Deschamps has come out to say that he is ready to forget his spat with Karim Benzema. He recently revealed that they’ve had a lengthy conversation on past issues, and everything has been resolved.

According to him, the most important thing is the present for the national team, even if the team still did great in his absence.

He added that things have changed since the saga that dumped Karim out of the team, and everything is better now.

His words, “I won’t talk about our discussion. But it was very, very long: there were a lot of exchanges,”

“What is important is today and tomorrow. The fact that he did not come back before did not prevent the French team from having good results.”

“Things have changed. Me, and certainly Karim’s side too, of course”

“I’m not going to tell you when, how, if it was possible before. The conditions were not met, they are today. If I made this decision, you can imagine that it was fine.”
