Many people have been trapped after a three-storey building collapsed in the Ilasa area of Lagos state on Thursday, May 18.
The incident was said to have occurred around 2pm.
Most of the people under the rubbles are said to be construction workers.
It was gathered that rescue operation is ongoing at the scene – located at 2/4, Richard Abimbola, Off Limca Road, Ire Adri Estate.
Officials of the Lagos State Ambulance Service (LASAMBUS) are said to be treating some of the victims.
Some of the victims have also been taken to the Ilasa general hospital.
The general manager of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), Adesina Tiamiyu, said 14 workers were rescued.
No death has been recorded as at the time of filing this report.
