At least four people were reported killed Monday in a renewed clash between the Eggon tribe and Fulani herdsmen in Asakio town in Nasarawa State, reports have said.
The clash was said to have occurred at the early hours of the morning following a dispute between the two groups.
The Nasarawa state Governor Tanko Almakura had since called an emergency security meeting to look into the crises.
According to eyewitness account, the incident was a spill over of the recent clash between Fulani herdsmen and Eggon farmers at Fadaman Bauna in Lafia Local Government Area of the state where many lives were lost and property worth millions of naira destroyed.
