Nnamdi Kanu, the head of IPOB, has ordered Simon Ekpa, a Biafra agitator living in Finland, to put an end to all sit-at-home protests in the Southeast.
Ekpa was also told to quit provoking politicians or governors from the southeast by Kanu.
He issued a warning that anyone who enforces sit-at-home orders in the Southeast is not one of his disciples and ought to be made to face the full force of the law.

The instruction was given by the IPOB leader in a telegram to Ekpa, which his Special Counsel, Aloy Ejimakor, made public on Friday.
Journalist Ejimakor cited Kanu as saying, “Simon, this is a direct order from me,” while they were both speaking in Enugu. Please refrain from requesting any such days off in the future. Avoid alienating governors or other political figures since you have no idea what they may be doing on my behalf.
A public statement to the effect that you have received a direct instruction from me to terminate any current sit-at-home is required.
I started this revolution to free our people, not to keep them in chains. Anyone or anything that seeks to needlessly punish our people has and always will have my utmost contempt from me. If you don’t make this notice on your site, Aloy has my permission to do so.
Anyone who continues to watch TV all day is not one of my students. People who hate Biafra and are willing to kill for their country are disguising themselves as enforcers of the Sit-at-Home to commit atrocities against the same people we vowed to protect.
I have made it clear to those supposedly enforcing the sit-at-home that they are not acting on my behalf numerous times. I am not pleading for my freedom, but rather asking that Nigeria respect its own laws.
