Former Arsenal and Manchester City defender, Bacary Sagna has come out to tip Tottenham Hotspur to collapse this season after their strong start. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, he still believes the EPL title will be between Arsenal and Manchester City, because Tottenham will always end up running out of steam when it matters the most.
Sagna added that apart from Heung-Min Son, no other Spurs player can spark a title race for the club.
His words, “The title race will be between Arsenal and Manchester City, Spurs will collapse, as usual. And that’s not just me speaking as an Arsenal fan. I don’t see them being consistent enough all season.
Apart from Heung-Min Son, I don’t see anyone in that team that can lead the team or play a vital role in Spurs’ title race. I have respect for the players, and they play good football under a good coach, but the season is very long, and I don’t see them competing on a long-term basis. They started well, and they can qualify for the Champions League, but I don’t see them competing for the title.”
