On October 23, 2023, Air Peace announced that it would once again serve the Kaduna area.
In a statement, Air Peace’s spokesman Stanley Olisa claimed that the company has finalized plans to return to Kaduna on the specified day.
In addition, Olisa mentioned that the Kaduna route had been dormant since March 2022 owing to security concerns, adding, “but the airline is delighted to be resuming connectivity to the city after the 19 months hiatus.”

After being attacked by robbers, the Kaduna International Airport remained closed for nearly two years, as previously reported by InfoStride News.
Due to the suspension of services by Azman, the only airline serving the state, flight operations were disrupted.
Despite the instability in the state, Azman resumed operations two months later, purchasing a one-way ticket from Abuja to Kaduna for more than N100,000.
Once serving as a hub for airlines including Air Peace, Aero Contractors, Arik Air, Med-View, and Azman, the airport is currently unoccupied.
Stanley Olisa, a spokesman for Air Peace, has stated that bookings can be made through the company’s website or mobile app, and that flights to Kaduna are now available.
