Mrs. Kemi Nandap, the Comptroller General of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), has pledged that the country will not tolerate criminal-minded migrants.
Nandap made this declaration in a statement released by the agency’s Public Relations Officer, Kenneth Udo, on Wednesday in Abuja.
The CG extended her greetings to all Muslim officers and men of the NIS, Nigerian citizens, and migrants residing in the country.

She also congratulated President Bola Tinubu and the Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubumi Tunji-Ojo, on the occasion of the Sallah celebration.
Furthermore, Nandap commended all Muslims for their commitment and dedication to fasting and praying for the security, unity, and welfare of the country.
She urged all Nigerians to uphold Godly virtues daily, reaffirming the agency’s dedication to border security and management.
Nandap stated, “I believe in a better Nigeria, and I assure the nation of the NIS’s renewed determination to ensure the safety and protection of the nation’s borders.
“No space will be given to any criminally minded traveler through our borders.
Only properly documented and authorized migrants, capable of creating or adding value through legitimate engagements, are allowed to reside in the country.”
She also called for increased collaboration among security agencies, emphasizing that “by working together, we can strengthen the foundations of national defense, security, and development.”
