Canada manager, Jesse Marsch has come out to say that he was disappointed by the United States’ performance at Copa America. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, even if he is fully focused on his job with Canada, he is American by heart, and the lack of discipline the US national team showed at the tournament was not good enough.

He added that many people definitely expected better from the players this year, but they failed to deliver.
His words, “I’d like to say that I’m only focused on what we’re doing here in Canada, but obviously I’m paying attention to the US men’s national team as I always do, and like you, I’m sad. I’m disappointed with the performances, the lack of discipline. There are a lot of things that I think we’ve tried to embody about the game in the US, and we’ve always believed in this group of players.
I’m not there every day, so I don’t have my finger on the pulse of what’s going on, but it’s certainly not what we expected coming into this tournament.”
WOW.
