Liverpool manager, Arne Slot has come out to say that Jurgen Klopp congratulated him after the Reds confirmed their Premier League title. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, Klopp was really happy for him, the staff, the players, and the fans when the 20th title was confirmed, and he was actually the most famous person to congratulate him.
Slot added that the German manager told him that he is now part of the history of such a special club.
His words, “The most famous person to congratulate? I assume that’s Jurgen. What did he have to say? What most of them said. So that was congratulations, and now you know how special of a club it is, now you are part of the history as well – those kinds of things.
He was really happy for me, for the players, for the staff, for the fans, like we all know Jurgen [would be]. Maybe I forget a few, but I think he was the most famous one.”

Left with an empty ground, Houlding founded Liverpool in 1892 and the club has played at Anfield ever since. The capacity of the stadium at the time was 20,000, although only 100 spectators attended Liverpool’s first match at Anfield.
