Springfield Private School and Bosede Idehen International Academy’s graduating students of the 2024/2025 academic session were recently treated to a memorable Valedictory Service and End-of-Year celebration. The ceremony, tagged “Reaching for the Star,” was the epitome of motivation and hope for the future of Nigerian students.
Mrs. Idehen Ovabor, the school’s director, referencing the theme, prayed for every child in her school to attain the height of their preferred careers, while standing out among their peers.
She gifted each graduating SS3 student a box, which came with a message that read, “As you step out of this school, use this box to pack your belongings when you gain admission or when you prepare to travel to the United States. It’s a reminder that greatness is expected of you.”
Her words and prayers inspired everyone in attendance, further reaffirming the academy’s utmost dedication to growing excellence.

The ceremony was lively with superb performances from both the primary section, Springfield Private School, and the secondary section, Bosede Idehen International Academy.
The commendable presentations and the official activation of the school‘s Press Club stood out as the highlights from the event.
Speaking in her welcome address, the Head Teacher thanked parents for their continued support, calling for a stronger partnership between them and the school in the coming academic year.
A memorable moment of the ceremony was the formal introduction of the new Principal, Mrs. Barthel, who immediately vowed to ensure the school retains its willingness to sustain and exceed the academic and moral standards it is respected for.
The event comperes of the day, Mr. Benjamin and Mr. Theophilus Aluko, dazzled guests with their amazing anchoring, giving the celebration the professional touch it deserved.

Mr. Benjamin did not forget to invite parents to subscribe their kids for the upcoming “Summer Splash” – a crucial holiday program designed to help students navigate their studies and life in general.
The package delivers key activities like Mathpedia, Drone Flying, Art & Craft, Graphic Design, Coding & Robotics, Social Media Management, and Swimming, among others – all put together to make sure the students are ready for whatever the future holds.
