The All Progressives Congress (APC) has strongly criticized Nasir El-Rufai, a key member of the opposition coalition, describing him as the most confused and clueless politician in Nigeria’s history.
Felix Morka, APC’s National Publicity Secretary, made the remarks in response to El-Rufai’s warning to Nigerians against voting for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 elections.
Morka said El-Rufai’s failed bid to become a minister under Tinubu’s administration does not justify his attacks on the President. El-Rufai had claimed that Tinubu would destroy Nigeria if re-elected in 2027.
The APC spokesperson noted that El-Rufai’s fall from political prominence to what he termed “a clown” is a subject worth studying.
In a statement, Morka described El-Rufai’s recent outburst against Tinubu’s administration as “another outburst of a waspish politician.”
He added that El-Rufai and his partners in the ADC are “the most confused, clueless, rudderless, and pitiful opposition politicians our country has ever known.”
Morka further criticized El-Rufai, saying he brings “nothing to the political table except his oversized ego, wild entitlement mentality, obscene desperation, and predatory presidential ambitions.”
