Former US Secretary of State and 2016 Democratic nominee for president, Hillary Clinton, has said that she would nominate President Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize if he helps end the war in Ukraine. She recently revealed that it would be a commendable achievement if Trump manages to restore peace between both nations.
Speaking to Jessica Tarlov on her Raging Moderates podcast, Hilary shared that if Trump could end the war without making Ukraine concede its territory to Russia, it would be an applaudable move.

Clinton stated that she will keep doing everything within her power to ensure a concession to Putin does not happen.
“Honestly, if he could bring about the end to this terrible war, if he could end it without putting Ukraine in a position where it had to concede its territory to the aggressor, could really stand up to Putin — something we haven’t seen, but maybe this is the opportunity — if President Trump were the architect of that, I’d nominate him for a Nobel Peace Prize.
Because my goal here is to not allow capitulation to Putin,” she said.
Recall that Trump recently expressed his desire to be nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize, an award won by Barack Obama in 2009, for his “extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples.”
