Manchester City legend Kyle Walker has said that he never should have joined AC Milan on loan. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, because Man City were uncharacteristically struggling under Pep Guardiola at the time, he believes it was a selfish decision by him to leave.

Walker added that even though he really wanted to experience playing abroad, he should’ve stayed to help City.
His words, “The first one in line when things are not going really well” and, given that, he asked: “At that time in the season, should I have left? Looking back at it now, probably no.
I should have stood by or next to my team-mates, next to my friends and people who I class as my family. But for the first time probably in my career I was selfish and I thought about myself and I wanted to play football.
When a club like AC Milan comes I didn’t think I could turn them down.
I don’t regret it as I always wanted to play abroad and experience that. I’m glad I did the sixth months, but I probably could have done a bit better.”
WOW.
Pep Guardiola Sala is a Spanish professional football manager and former player who is currently managing Premier League club Manchester City. Guardiola is the only manager to win the continental treble twice, the youngest to win the UEFA Champions League, and he also holds the records for the most consecutive league games won in La Liga, the Bundesliga, and the Premier League. He is considered to be one of the greatest managers of all time.
