A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Joe Igbokwe, has mocked the coalition of opposition leaders, claiming that their momentum and influence are rapidly fading.
Igbokwe, who is a staunch supporter of President Bola Tinubu, stated that the opposition’s alleged propaganda has lost steam, describing the coalition as “all noise and no substance.”
Supporters of the ruling party have recently argued that the excitement surrounding the opposition bloc, which adopted the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as its platform for the 2027 general elections, has significantly declined.

In a post on his Facebook page, Igbokwe wrote:
“All things considered, the noise about the overrated COALITION is fading away gradually.
It is all noise and no substance — a story told by certain arrogant loudmouths without a sense of history. Let the music go on. We will learn from history.”
Igbokwe reiterated his confidence that the APC would retain power in the 2027 presidential election, insisting that the opposition lacks the unity and structure to challenge the ruling party effectively.
