The Zamfara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has warned its members to desist from anti-party activities, insisting it will no longer tolerate actions capable of breeding disunity within the party.
In a statement on Tuesday, the State Publicity Secretary, Yusuf Idris Gusau, dismissed as false a report circulating online alleging that aggrieved members from Shinkafi Local Government Area had dragged the party to court over alleged unconstitutional sanctions.

The report claimed that three individuals — Babangida Aliyu Shinkafi, Kabiru Ibrahim and Ibrahim D. Kurya — had filed a suit on November 16, with suit number ZMS/GS/65/2025, seeking judicial intervention over purported disciplinary measures taken against them.
Gusau described the claims as speculative and misleading, insisting the party had neither sanctioned any member from Shinkafi nor received any court order related to such allegations.
“The party is not aware of any disciplinary action or suspension involving its members from Shinkafi, nor has it received any directive from a court of law in that regard,” he said.
The APC spokesperson accused those circulating the report of attempting to preempt possible sanctions, alleging that some individuals involved may have links with the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the state.

He emphasised that the APC would not allow politically motivated misinformation to destabilise the party or undermine its renewed stability and growing support base in Zamfara.
Gusau urged members to remain committed to party unity and adhere strictly to internal mechanisms for addressing grievances.
