The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) has announced that former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, alongside Joel Adoga, will be arraigned before the Federal High Court of Nigeria in the Kaduna Judicial Division on Tuesday, March 24, 2026.
The notice was contained in a statement signed by the Head of Media and Public Communications, John Okor Odey, on Monday.
According to the statement, the case, filed under suit number FHC/KD/73/2026, involves charges including conversion and possession of public property, as well as money laundering.

The Commission also disclosed that a separate charge has been filed against El-Rufai and Amadu Sule (LEDA) at the Kaduna State High Court, under case number KDH/KAD/ICPC/01/26.
Charges in the second case include abuse of office, fraud, intent to commit fraud, and conferring undue advantage, among others.
The ICPC noted that both cases were instituted on March 18, 2026.
While the date for El-Rufai’s arraignment at the State High Court is yet to be fixed, the Commission confirmed that he has been duly served.
The anti-corruption agency reiterated its commitment to due process and the rule of law in the prosecution of the cases.
