Popular rapper Ycee has opened up about his battle with mental health. He recently had his say during a recent interview, and fans have been reacting.
Revealing that he was diagnosed with a mental health disorder in 2020, Ycee disclosed that after medications and multiple hospitalisations, the condition ended up affecting his creativity.
Stressing that he can no longer freestyle like he used to, the lyricist added that he has accepted the newest version of himself.
His words, “I was diagnosed with a mental health disorder in 2020.
After medications and multiple hospitalisations, I had to accept that the version of me I knew wasn’t coming back.
It affected my creativity.
I could no longer freestyle like I used to.”
