Brazil forward Matheus Cunha has admitted that he was left speechless after receiving the ultimate seal of approval from country legend Ronaldo. Recall that R9 recently posted a side-by-side image: one of himself celebrating during the 2002 World Cup final against Germany and another of Cunha wheeling away after his strike against the Scots, stating, “The last time a nine celebrated like this, you know what happened.”
Reacting, Cunha expressed his shock and gratitude at being mentioned by his hero, stressing that Ronaldo has always been his football idol.
The MUFC forward added that Brazil’s number 9 jersey will always be Ronaldo’s.
His words, “My idol! I’m speechless with pride.
She’ll always be yours. And if you want to drop by to help out – I just wanted to take a look at something…”
