The Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) has disclosed that 15 political parties participated in the Bauchi State local government elections.
The council said the participation of the political parties reflected the level of interest in the elections and the willingness of various political groups to compete for elective positions across the state.

IPAC urged all participating parties and their candidates to accept the outcome of the elections and pursue any grievances through appropriate legal channels.
The council also called on voters to remain peaceful and respect the democratic process throughout the exercise.
It commended stakeholders involved in the elections for their efforts towards ensuring a peaceful conduct of the poll.
IPAC stressed the importance of allowing residents to freely exercise their franchise without intimidation or interference.
The council further urged the relevant electoral and security authorities to address any complaints arising from the elections and ensure that the process remained transparent.
The Bauchi local government elections formed part of efforts to strengthen grassroots democracy and provide residents with the opportunity to choose their representatives at the local level.
IPAC maintained that peaceful participation and respect for electoral rules were essential to strengthening democratic governance in the state.
