The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has intensified its campaign ahead of the September 26, 2026 local government elections in Enugu State, taking its mobilisation drive to Oji River Local Government Area.
The party used the campaign to canvass support for its candidates and urged residents to vote for the NDC in the forthcoming poll.

Addressing supporters during the campaign, NDC leaders expressed confidence in the party’s chances of defeating the All Progressives Congress (APC), saying the people of Oji River were ready for a change in leadership.
The party called on residents to reject the APC at the polls, accusing the ruling party of failing to meet the expectations of the people at the grassroots.
The NDC also urged its supporters to remain united and committed to the campaign, stressing the need for effective mobilisation ahead of election day.
The party said its candidates would prioritise good governance, accountability and development if elected into office.
The campaign is part of the NDC’s wider efforts to secure victory across Enugu State in the September 26 local government elections.
