Popular Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has claimed that he played a significant role in introducing Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice to Nigerians. He recently had his say via his social media page, and fans have been reacting.
Insisting that the English footballer only gained widespread attention in the country after he released a song about him, Odumodublvck stated that his music helped bring Rice to the spotlight among Nigerian music lovers and football fans.
The lyricist added that the exposure his hit record gave Declan eventually led to Arsenal signing him.
His words, “I introduced Declan Rice to Nigerians. Before I sang about him, nobody knew about him. It was after I sang about him that he blew up, and Arsenal discovered and signed him.”
