Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje has declared free primary and secondary education for school age kids in the state.
He made the declaration in his acceptance speech, briefly after being sworn in as Kano State Governor for second term in Kano on Wednesday.
According to him, tertiary education for Kano indigenes will be subsidised, as the government aims to improve its successes in healthcare delivery.
He then vowed to enhance agriculture and spoke about his government’s policy of no tolerance to corruption.
National Assembly members-elect from the state, top government officials, as well as traditional rulers and members of the business community were present at the ceremony.
