“In cognisance of complaints and concerns raised by residents of Yolde Pate and Sabon Hanya regarding recent incidents of criminal activities within the area, the Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris, has ordered the deployment of a new DPO to the area,” the command said.
In a statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Suleiman Nguroje, the command disclosed that additional personnel have been deployed to intensify night patrols, raids on identified black spots and surveillance operations aimed at curbing criminal activities.
“The command assures residents of Yolde Pate, Sabon Hanya and environs of its commitment to the protection of lives and property,” Nguroje stated.
He urged members of the public to continue to cooperate with the police by providing timely and credible information to support ongoing security efforts.
