Nigerian forward Ahmed Musa has been urged by his manager at Leicester City to understand English football.
Musa impressed as he started in Leicester City’s 2-4 loss to Chelsea in the English Football League Cup on Tuesday, September 20.
Despite his impressive performances, Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri has urged the forward to have a better understanding of the Premier League.
“For us, that is good, and Ahmed Musa must understand much better the Premier League, but it is okay. For me it is important to develop all the squad and not just the 14 players,” Ranieri said after the game.
“We have a chance to go through to the next round but it wasn’t possible, but it is okay,” Ranieri told reporters after the game.
“We have to work more and more to give them 90 minutes because when I need them they must be fit 100 percent.”
Leicester City will put their loss to Chelsea behind them when they travel to Old Trafford for Saturday, September 24 early Premier League kick-off.
