Prominent activist Aisha Yesufu has advised men to conduct DNA tests on their children, particularly if they have doubts about paternity.
However, she warned against publicly sharing the results unless they prove the man is not the biological father.
Yesufu’s comments were in reaction to a backlash faced by a user on the social media platform X, who disclosed that he conducted a DNA test on his newborn, which confirmed his paternity.
Taking to her X handle, Yesufu stated, “Every man, most especially those that have doubts, needs to get a DNA test done on their children.
Except the DNA result shows that the children are not yours, you need to keep your damn mouth shut! Nobody needs to know you did a DNA test!”
Her remarks have sparked discussions on the importance of DNA testing and the ethical considerations of sharing such private information.
