Akon and Jeta Amata, who recently invited Rahama Sadau to Hollywood, have expressed their support for actress.
Akon, whose real name is Aliaume Damala Badara Akon Thiam, is an American singer, song writer, record producer now turned actor, who grew up in Senegal practicing Islam.
Akon took to Twitter to stand by Rahama Sadau, encouraging the actress and women empowerment.
“Looking forward to seeing u in LA. Let’s empower our women and motivate them to grow. Fanning them is cooler than banning them,” he tweeted.
Jeta Amata, an award winning Nigerian filmmaker, based in Los Angeles, California, also expressed his excitement via Twitter.
Sadau was recently expelled from Kannywood by the Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria for featuring in a romantic music video by Jos born singer, ClassiQ.
Sadau’s projects include Nollywood movie “Ajuwaya,””Hakkunde” and the anticipated EbonyLife TV series “Sons of the Caliphate,” which premiered on Thursday, October 14, 2016, to positive reviews.
