TheInfoStride reports that a committal proceeding was instituted against the police chief, Aliyu Garba, by the caretaker committee chairman of the PDP in Ebonyi State, Hon. Fred Udeogu.

The court had in its ruling ordered the CP not to recognize Barr Chief Onyekachi Nwebonyi, Engineer Francis Ori and Emeka Ogbo, as officers of the PDP pending the determination of the suit.

The Party has now returned to the Court, through its counsel, Barr. Okoro Nkemakolam S.C, alleging that the CP had flouted the order.
