    Ambode Commission First State-Owned Emergency Helicopter Service

    Governor-Akinwunmi-Ambode-of-Lagos-State-corporateLagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode has commissioned the first state-owned emergency helicopter service in Nigeria.

    Ambode commissioned the project, meant for use in medical emergencies, on Thursday, August 11, 2016, at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital in Ikeja.

    Ambode also said that the maternity ward of the hospital, popularly called Ayinke House, would be ready for use by 2017.
