Amosun Hails Conduct of APC Ward Congress in Ogun

Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun has described the conduct of Saturday’s Ward Congress of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state as hitch free and peaceful, applauding the Executive Committee members raised to carry out the exercise. 

 

Amosun, at his Agura ward in the Obafemi Owode Local Government Area of the state, noted that reports from across the state showed that the election of ward executives for the party was commendable and noted that Ogun state has always set the standard in notable things.

 

“I’m very delighted about reports we are getting from across the state, even at the national level, on the conduct of the Ward Congress and I feel we must appreciate executives who have organised it, though I am not surprised because we have always set the standard for others to follow.

 

“It is not easy to organise and conduct this kind of thing. With this success, I think we should commend the organisers and the party at large”, Amosun stated. 

The governor was also with the Igbore ward of former Governor of the state, Chief Olusegun Osoba in Abeokuta to observe the conduct of the congress where he appealed to the party members to conduct themselves peacefully as the APC is noted for peace.
