Popular journalist, Daniel Riolo has come out to say that Carlo Ancelotti should drop Kylian Mbappe. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, he believes the manager is being held prisoner by the former Paris Saint-Germain player in the current setup, and since the Frenchman can’t play on his favorite left position, he must be benched.
He added that Mbappe is not and will never be a number 9, so Ancelotti should take responsibility for such a big decision.
His words, “You play without a centre-forward because – it was the case last year, it is the case in the French team and it will be the case at Real, I have been killing myself saying it for months – Mbappe is not and will never be a number 9. Just like everyone else is a prisoner of this thing, Ancelotti is in the same prison.
I’m going to repeat a sentence that I’ve repeated 150 times: Mbappe, either it’s on the left, or it’s on the bench. And on the left, there’s better than him at the moment since Vinicius has the privilege of seniority and performances, so it’s going to go to the bench because it can’t be otherwise.
He’s not a 9, there’s one on the bench (Rodrygo) and he’s going to have to be played. Can Ancelotti take responsibility for such a decision? Real are a big club and capable of taking responsibility for such a decision but they can’t continue like this, it’s obvious.”
WOW.
Real Madrid Club de Fútbol, commonly referred to as Real Madrid, is a Spanish professional football club based in Madrid. The club competes in La Liga, the top tier of Spanish football.
Real Madrid has maintained the white shirt for its home kit throughout the history of the club. There was, however, one season that the shirt and shorts were not both white. It was an initiative undertaken by Juan Padrós in honor of an English team Corinthian F.C., which he had met on one of his trips, one of the most famous teams at the time known for its elegance and sportsmanship.
It was under Florentino Pérez’s first presidency (2000–2006) that Real Madrid started its ambition of becoming the world’s richest professional football club. The club ceded part of its training grounds to the city of Madrid in 2001, and sold the rest to four corporations: Repsol YPF, Mutua Automovilística de Madrid, Sacyr Vallehermoso and OHL.
Hala Madrid is a magazine published quarterly for the Real Madrid club members and the Madridistas Fan Club card holders. The phrase Hala Madrid, meaning “Forward Madrid” or “Go Madrid”, is also the title of the club’s official anthem, which is often sung by the Madridistas (the club’s fans).
