A prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Yobe State, Mohammed Bello, has announced his resignation from the party.
Bello, a former APC senatorial aspirant for Yobe Zone A, described his decision as a move to “come out from bondage.”
His resignation was conveyed in a letter addressed to the party’s Ward Chairman in Gwange, Damaturu metropolis, where he confirmed that his exit from the APC takes immediate effect.

“I am writing to formally notify you of my decision to resign my membership from the All Progressives Congress (APC) immediately,” the letter partly read.
According to him, the decision was reached after deep reflection on his personal values and the current direction of the party.
“After much deliberation, I have concluded that it is in my best interest and that of my community to step away from the party at this time,” Bello stated.
